FH (Frequency Hopping)

Uses 1 MHz wide channels in the 2.4 GHz ISM (Industrial Scientific Medicine) band:
Channel 2 centred on 2402 MHz.
Channel 3 centred on 2403 MHz.
...
Channel 80 centred on 2480 MHz.

Uses a pseudorandom hopping sequence of 26 channels. Three different hopping sequence sets are defined.

Uses GFSK (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying):

2GFSK: using 1 Mbit/sec data stream, each bit is encoded as:
1 = positive frequency deviation, of nominal +160 kHz (minimum +110 kHz).
0 = negative frequency deviation, of nominal −160 kHz (minimum −110 kHz).
The difference between symbols is nominally 0.32 x 1 MHz (the symbol rate) = 320 kHz.

4GFSK: using 2 Mbit/sec data stream, each pair of bits is encoded as:
10 = frequency deviation of nominal +216 kHz.
11 = frequency deviation of nominal +72 kHz.
01 = frequency deviation of nominal −72 kHz.
00 = frequency deviation of nominal −216 Hz.
The difference between symbols is nominally 0.45 x 0.32 x 1 MHz (the symbol rate) = 144 kHz.
